CHIKHAL KALO FESTIVAL AT MARCEL

The Department of Tourism will be organizing Chikhal Kalo (Mud Festival) from July 5 to July 7, 2025 at Shree Devki Krishna Temple, Marcel.

The highlights of the festival will be Mud pools, Devotional celebration, Goan Cultural performances, Goan vegetarian cusine, Traditional Games and Activities etc.

The Chikhal Kalo (Mud Festival) will be held on July 7, 2025 at 10.00 am onwards at Shree Devki Krishna Temple, Marcel. Thousands of visitors/ tourists witness the festival annually. The main objective of the festival is to showcase and promote the unique Goan tradition of the Chikhal Kalo festival to national and international arena, attributing an increase of tourists to Goa.
