CRG’S EFFORTS TO ENROLL CHILDREN IN FORMAL SCHOOLS YIELDS SUCCESS

The children’s Rights in Goa has informed that at Kadamba Plateau, children of construction labourers, many of whom are first generation school goers are making meaningful progress in their educational journey. Since 2020, Children’s Rights in Goa has been instrumental in supporting their enrolment into formal schools.

Through consistent one-on-one engagement with parents, the team raised awareness about the value of education and encouraged families to enroll their children. To overcome documentation barriers, affidavits were prepared for each child, enabling smooth school admissions.

As a result of these sustained efforts, five children have successfully gained admission to Smt. Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Corlim for the academic year 2025-2026.
