WORKSHOP ON ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY HELD

The “Art of Photography” workshop for children between the ages of 10 to 15 years, organized by the Directorate of Art and Culture, was held today at the Multi-purpose hall, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto. The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon from May 26 to 30, 2025.

While addressing the about 50 participants in a five-day photography workshop, Director of Art and Culture Shri Sagun Velip noted that the workshop’s objective is to impart knowledge to children to take photography. God-given nature contains an infinite variety of colours, all we have to do is search for them. This photography workshop will surely help children foresee or describe the suitable images using the best color combinations and other aspects of the shots. This photography workshop would also benefit the children’s career development, he noted.

The resource persons for the “Art of Photography” program are Shri Paritosh Pai and his Assistant Mrs. Rama Pai, who will provide practical and theoretical instruction to the children, including outdoor camera shoots.

Dignitaries who shared the dais include Dy. Director of Accounts – Art and Culture Shri Raju Gaonkar, Assistant Cultural Officer Smt. Kranti Chari, Shri Paritosh Pai, and Mrs. Rama Pai.
