DIRECTORATE OF FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ORGANIZE BLOOD DONATION CAMP

The Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Goa Medical College, Bambolim, organized a Blood Donation Camp recently at the Fire Force Training Centre as part of the Fire Prevention Week activities.

The camp was inaugurated by Shri Nitin V. Raiker, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, in the distinguished presence of Shri Rajendra Haldankar, Deputy Director (Fire), Shri Shripad Gawas, Divisional Officer, North Zone Panaji, Shri Francisco Mendes, Divisional Officer, South Zone Margao, Shri Bosco Ferrao, Assistant Divisional Officer, North Zone Panaji, and Dr. Sanjay Korgaonkar, Medical Officer, Blood Bank GMC.

A total of 60 dedicated donors, including officers and staff of the Directorate, came forward to donate blood, reinforcing the department’s commitment not just to fire safety, but also to community service and saving lives in every way possible.
