CHIEF MINISTER DR. PRAMOD SAWANT EXTENDS WARM GREETINGS ON THE AUSPICIOUS OCCASION OF GUDI PADWA

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant extends his heartfelt greetings to the people of Goa on the joyous occasion of Gudi Padwa, wishing everyone happiness, prosperity, good health, and new opportunities.

In his message to the people, Dr. Sawant said, “Gudi Padwa, celebrated on the first day of the Chaitra month, marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year. The ‘Gudi’ is a beautifully adorned symbol, decorated with flowers and mango leaves, representing victory, prosperity, and new beginnings. while ‘Padwa’ signifies the first day of the phase of the moon.”

HCM emphasized that the festival aligns with Goa’s vision of Swayampurna Goa and the national goal of Viksit Bharat, urging every Goan to embrace the spirit of self-reliance, innovation, and collective growth. “Gudi Padwa is a celebration of new beginnings and the triumph of good over obstacles. Let us take inspiration from this sacred festival to rededicate ourselves to building a prosperous Swayampurna Goa, contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat,” he added.

Dr. Sawant urged Goans to take forward the values of unity, resilience, and self-sufficiency, which are the essence of Atmanirbhar Bharat. “As we hoist the Gudi with pride, let it remind us of our responsibility to work harder, support local industries, strengthen the rural economy, and empower our youth for a self-sufficient and sustainable Goa.”

“May this Gudi Padwa bring new hope, harmony, and success to every household. May it lay the foundation for strong communities, new opportunities, and a future filled with prosperity for all.” The Hon’ble Chief Minister concluded.
