SPEED BREAKERS NOTIFIED

The District Magistrate, South has notified hump type speed breakers and rumbler strips at various locations in the jurisdiction of Quepem Taluka. One hump type speed breaker to be installed near St, Francis Xavier Chapel at a distance of 05 meters from the edge of the compound wall of the Chapel towards way to Catta, Amona. 05 numbers of rumbler strips are to be installed at a distance of 05 meters near the house of Julio Dias and near the house of Philip D Costa, Quepem.

Similarly, one hump type speed breaker to be installed at a distance of 05 meters from the edge of Quepem- Paroda road towards internal road near the house of Edward Fernandes. One hump type speed breaker to be installed near the house of Jaya Bhandari on the road leading towards Quepem. Two hump type speed breakers to be installed at a distance of 10 meters and 8 meters near OM SAI General Store on the internal road passing from Deumaol, Sirvoi, Quepem towards Zambaulim.

And also one hump type speed breaker to be installed to the internal road near the new church at a distance of 05 meters, proceeding behind the new church towards the old church, Quepem. Two hump type speed breakers and installation of one Convex Mirror to be installed at a distance of 05 meters near the stage of the old church and on the internal road going behind the new church, Quepem.
