DDMA CONDUCTS MOCK EXERCISE ON CYCLONE

The Collector and District Disaster Management Authority, North Goa, Panaji and National Disaster Response Force 5 BN Pune and other stakeholders conducted Disaster Management mock exercise on cyclone and flood at ferry point in the city today.

The NDRF personnel displayed rescue techniques, first aid methods and novel methods to handle disasters. This mock exercise was conducted with an intention of alertness, preparedness well in advance to tackle disaster situation, if it occurs at any time.

Dy. Collector Shri Suyash Khandeparkar, Dy. Comdt. NDRF Shri Pramod Kumar, Mamlatdar Shri Kaushik Dessai, NDRF personnel Inspectors NDRF Shri Vijay Kumar, Shri Ajay Kumar Yadav, Talathis and officials of District Collectorate North Goa, Health Dept, Captain of Ports, Police, Fire and Emergency Services, Industries, Department of Information & Publicity, River Navigation, City Corporation of Panaji, BDO Panaji, etc. participated in the mock exercise.
