PRIZES PRESENTED TO WINNER OF STATE LEVEL BOAT & CRIB COMPETITIONS

Prize distribution ceremony of State Level Boat Festival and Crib making competition was held at Kala Academy Complex, Panaji recently.

Present on the occasion were Shri Sagun R Velip, Director, Directorate of Art and Culture, Shri Milind U Mate, Dy. Director, Art and Culture, Shri Dinesh Pawar, Dy. Director Administration (Art and Culture), Smt. Tanvi Sawant, Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Karapur Sarvan, Ms Divya Naik, Dy. Sarpanch Village Panchayat Karapur Sarvan, Shri Dinesh Usapkar, President, Deepawali Utsavand Samiti, Vitthalpur Sankhlai and other dignitaries.

24 participants took part in the State level Boat competition with handcrafted miniature boats which were sailed in the River Valvanti on the day of the State Level Tripurari festival. The winners of the competition were presented prizes and certificates and Rolling trophies. The first prize Art and Culture Minister’s Rolling trophy was presented by Directorate of Art and Culture along with certificate, while the second prize Goa Tourism Development Corporation Panaji and certificate and third prize of Late Vithoba Krishnaji Naik , Vitthalapur Sankhali and certificate were presented. Five consolation prizes along with certificates were also given.

Prizes were also presented to the winners of State Level Crib Competition.
