Gramin Patrakar Sangh led By DIP called on Governor of Orissa

The members of the Goa Gramin Patrakar Sangh, who are on a study tour to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, along with the Director and officers of the Information and Publicity Department called on the Governor of Odisha, Shri Raghubar Das, at Raj Bhavan today.

Governor Shri Das welcomed the visiting journalists and said, such tours help to know and understand the unique culture of the State.

Shri Dipak Bandekar, Director of Information and Publicity presented traditional kunbi shawl and Nandadeep to the Governor.

Similarly, the journalists association also called on the Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Smt. Surma Padhy, yesterday. The members of association witnessed the proceedings of the ongoing winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Director of Information and Publicity Department, Shri Dipak Bandekar, Information Officer, Shri Kiran Munankar, Assistant Information Officer, Shri Shyam Gaonkar, Information Assistant Shri Siddhesh Samant, President of the Goa Gramin Patrakar Sangh Shri Uday Sawant, office bearers and members of the association are on the study tour to Bhubaneswar in Odisha to study the different aspects of journalism.
