PAID HOLIDAY FOR MAH ELECTIONS

The Government of Goa has declared Wednesday, November 20, 2024 as a “paid holiday”, being the “Polling Day” for the General Election to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the workers who are working in the State of Goa and are voters of the State of Maharashtra, in order to enable them to vote on the poll day.

The aforesaid paid holiday is applicable to the following workers who are entitled to vote at the said elections and are working in establishments in the state of Goa. These include Industrial workers of the state of Goa, Daily wage workers of the Government Departments and State Government Industrial Departments, Commercial and industrial workers of private establishments in the State of Goa; Workers of all private establishments and Daily wage/casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings or any other establishments.
