DATE EXTENDED FOR STATE AWARDS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, has invited applications in the prescribed application form from employers, NGOs and Person with Disabilities for the State awards in the categories of best Employer (One Award), Best NGO (One Award) One award in each category for person with disabilities such as Visually impairment, Hearing impairment, Physical impairment will be given for the Best Employee with Disabilities.

Each award consists of a cash amount of Rupees 25,000, Citation certificate, Shrifal and Shawl. Prescribed applications forms are available free of cost at the counter of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, third floor, building ‘ B’, New Market complex, Porvorim – Goa

The application in prescribed format duly filled in all respect and accompanied with xerox copies of the documents attested by Gazetted Officer should reach to the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has been extended to November 26, 2024.

State awards will be presented on December 19, 2024 at the hands of Chief Minister on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day.
