BE COMMITTED TOWARDS ACADEMIC GOALS: SEQUEIRA

Minister for Law and Judiciary Shri. Aleixo Sequeira advised student community to be committed towards their academic goals and achieve success in life. He was speaking at a annual felicitation programme organised by South Goa District Madgaon School Complex Co. Operative Credit Society held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao yesterday.

Minister Shri. Sequeira stated that students should avoid ill temptations and excel in their studies. He lauded the efforts of South Goa District Madgaon School Complex Co.op. Credit Society towards the betterment of students and teaching fraternity. He said that institution has achieved lot in providing support to teachers and also contributed to local economy through cooperative sector.

Ministery Congratulated the Meritorious students who were felicitated for their academic excellence and also teachers were felicitated for their academic achievements on the occasion.

State Co-ordinator, Samgra Shiksha Shri. John Silveira in his address stressed for initiating various efforts towards skills development in students. He said that if young students are equipped with various technical skill it will help them to become independent.

Vice Chairman of the Credit Society Shri. Tulshidas Dessai spoke on the occasion.

Chairman of the Credit Society, Shri. Babaji Sawant informed about various initiatives implemented by the South Goa District Madgaon School Complex Credit Society towards the welfare of teachers and students.

Secretary, Shri. Sandeep Redkar and Treasurer Smt. Lourencia Rebello and others were present on the occasion.
