Directorate of Education has declared CM-Vashistha Guru Puraskar 2023-24 to 7 meritorious teachers for the exemplary work done in the field of education. The recipients of CM-Vashistha Guru Puraskar 2023-24 will be felicitated at the hands of Chief Minister of Goa during 63rd Teacher’s Day function scheduled on September 05, 2024 at 11.00 a.m. at Mast. Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Kala Academy Goa, Campal, Panaji.

The recipients of CM-Vashistha Guru Puraskar 2023-24 in Primary Teacher Category Mr. Mahesh Chandrakant Kashalkar (Govt. Primary Teacher) Govt. Middle School, Mopa, Pernem from North Goa and Ms. Pratima Prakash Prabhu Gaonkar, (Govt. Primary Teacher), Govt. Primary School, Mahalwada, Poinguinim, Canacona from South Goa.

In Secondary Teacher Category Mr. Sudhir Tukaram Naik (Drawing Teacher) Sateri Vidya Mandir, Ibrampur, Pernem from North Goa. Ms. Jyoti Venkatesh Sinari (Assistant Teacher), Ramakant Naik Memorial Government High School, Tarmata, Bhile, Surla, Bicholim from North Goa.

In High School Headmaster category Mr. Shirishkumar Vinayak Amshekar (Headmaster), SSM’s Swastik Vidyalaya, Priol, Mardol from South Goa. In Higher Secondary Teacher category Mr. Shirish Shriranga Bhide (Teacher Grade-I), Dempo Charitable Trust’s Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, Santa-Cruz and in Higher Secondary Principal Category Mr. Vithal Ankush Parsekar (Prinicipal), Dr. Ambedkar Higher Secondary School, Colvale, Bardez.
