CM LAUNCHES EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS OF FOUNDATIONAL STAGE I

Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant launched educational videos focused on the foundational stage I at Mantralaya Porvorim today. Addressing the programme, the CM emphasized that these videos are designed specifically for teachers, aiding them in training and facilitating foundational education. The aim is to teach students about the concept of “Panchgynanendra” in the foundation course of education.
Explaining about the videos, Shri. Shailesh Sinai Zingde, Director Directorate of Education said that the initiation of the creation of 27 educational videos is aimed at enriching creative learning for students in Foundational Stage I. The Directorate of Education also aims to expand this initiative to encompass 100 videos he added. Speaking further Shri. Shailesh Sinai Zingde informed that the entire project is developed in-house and curated in collaboration with teachers and students from various government-aided and unaided schools across the State, with no associated costs.
Also MoU was signed between Directorate of Education and TCS iON, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Shri. Atanasio Monserrate, Minister for Town and Country Planning today.
Addressing the media, CM said this agreement aims to bolster skill development initiatives at both education and higher education levels. Chief Minister underscored the government’s commitment to skill development, highlighting its focus on skilling, re-skilling, and up-skilling to empower Goan youth. TCS iON, a strategic business unit of TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), will provide training to students and youths across various sectors, alleviating any financial burden on the State Government, CM informed.
