PUBLIC NOTICE FOR LPG CONSUMERS

The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs would like to bring to the Notice of all the LPG Consumers that the Government of India has informed that all domestic LPG distributors are currently paid distributor commission on sale of domestic LPG @ Rs. 73.03 per 14.2 kg cylinder constituting delivery charges of Rs. 33.65 which is revised from time to time on the Denovo study conducted by IIM Ahmadabad and adequately covers all expenses of a distributor with a reasonable margin.

Government of India is presently providing subsidy @ Rs. 300/- per 14.2 kg cylinder to Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries to bolster Government effort to improve afordability.

All the LPG dealers / Agents of HPCL, BPCL and IOCL are therefore instructed that no additional delivery charges should be levied on the domestic LPG consumers, for providing home delivery to them, as it adds to costs payable by consumers.

All the LPG consumers may also take note of the same. They are requested to give their complaints if any in this regard, to the respective Taluka Civil Supplies Inspector or Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Junta House, Panaji-Goa.
