GOA SCPCR TAKES COGNIZANCE OF TRAFFIC MISMANAGEMENT

The Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) took suo moto cognizance of the issue of traffic mismanagement in the vicinity of Sharada Mandir School, Miramar and has issued a set of directives in response to this concern after conducting hearing.

Commission has issued various directives to ensure the safety and security of students within the school after a joint hearing with the stakeholders. Various directives has been issued to Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Corporation of the City of Panaji, District Disaster Management Authority and the School Administration.

Commission in its order has stated that directives are issued with the utmost concern for the well-being and safety of the students. It is collective responsibility to uphold measures and work together to create a safer and more disciplined environment for children.
