BOOK “GOAN DIVINITIES IN METALS” TO BE RELEASED ON DECEMBER 9

Government of Goa through the department of Art and Culture implements various schemes towards preservation and promotion of rich cultural traditions of the State. Every year book on local traditions and culture are published by the department of local authors.

Dr. Rohit R. Phalgaonkars “Goan Divinities in Metals” have been printed and will be published by the department on November 9, 2023 at Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panajai at 5.30 p.m. This book is of great importance to the students of iconography in particular and the devotees in general who are oblivious about the history, nature and iconographical peculiarities of these images in worship from Goa.

Minister for Art and Culture, Shri Govind Gaude will be the Chief Guest. The Department of Art and Culture has invited the Art and Culture lovers, Enthusiastic and literate personalities to attend this programme as schedule.
