SELECTION TRIAL FOR GOA STATE CIVIL SERVICES CRICKET TEAM

The Central Civil Service Cultural and Sports Board has organized all India Civil Services Tournaments in Cricket. The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be conducting a selection trial for the Men and Women category inclusive of players with disabilities to select the Goa State Civil Services Cricket Team at Campal Ground on March 3 & 4, 2023. Reporting date will be March 3, 2023 at 09.00 am onwards.

It is also informed that the Tournament was to be held from February 25 to March 8, 2023 remains postponed due to Goa State Cricket Team to participate in All India Civil Services Cricket Tournament scheduled to be from March12 to19, 2023 at Punjab and fresh date will be from March 28 to April 5, 2023. Draw can be obtained from the Department.

Interested players who are regular employees in Govt. Departments may report to Shri. Vivekanand Tambi, S.S.O. (9325040802) in charge Officer Shri. Narayan Kambli, Coach (9890304123) on March 3, 2023 along with Identity Card duly signed by the Head of the Department and proper playing kit at the venue.

As per All India Civil Services the Junior Resident Doctors/Uniformed personnel in Defence Services/Para Military/Police/RFS/CISF/ITBP/National School Games/SPG and the newly recruited Govt. Employees who have put in less than 6 months in regular establishments services are not eligible to participate in the selection trials.
