Vasai-Virar Open Sea Swimming Foundation will be organising the World Longest Water Sea swimming event from Gateway of India (Mumbai) to Dona Paula (Goa).

The Event will start from Gateway of India (Mumbai) towards Dona Paula (Goa) on December 10, 2022 at 10.45 am and the swimming team is likely to reach Dona Paula on December 15, 2022 at 06.00 pm. The team will return from Dona Paula on the same day at 07.00 pm and will finish at Vasai fort on December 21, 2022 at 04. 00 pm.

All Owners/Masters of the barges, passengers launches, ferry boats, tindels of fishing trawlers and operators of the mechanized and non-mechanized crafts, including the tourist boats, cruise boats, etc. plying at the above locality/route are cautioned to keep a sharp lookout, go slow and if necessary stop at safe distance so as not to cause any hindrance during the above period and strictly adhere to on the spot instructions issued by the patrolling boats with red flag.
