AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV CELEBRATED and HAR GHAR TURANGA’ AT GOA STATE CENTRAL LIBRARY
August 14th has been observed as ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ in India. To observe the Remembrance Day and as instructed by the Ministry Art and Culture, Government of India, to organize exhibition on ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ in public places, Krishnadas Shama Goa Central Library had organized Exhibition of books to showcase the suffering of the partition affected people. The main purpose of the exhibition is to highlight the tragedy of the partition and the agony of the people who suffered during the partition.
HAR GHAR TURANGA’ AT GOA STATE CENTRAL LIBRARY
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was an initiative of the Government of India, to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements by hoisting ‘Tiranga’ at Government offices and homes to mark the 75th year of India Independence.
Krishnadas Shama Goa State Central Library, Directorate of Art and Culture has hoisted National flag on August 12, 2022, at the premises of Directorate of Art and Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji, Goa in the presence of Director Art and Culture Shri. Sagun Velip, Dy. Director Shri. Ashok Parab, Curator-Incharge and Asst. State Librarian Smt. Sulaksha Kolmule, Dy. Director Admin Accounts Shri Sarvottam Satardekar, Assistant Account Officer Shri Deepak Velip and all the staff of Central Library.
