CM INAUGURATES VISTEON TECH CENTRE GOA

Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant in presence of IT Minister, Shri. Rohan Khaunte inaugurated Visteon Tech Centre Goa in the City today.

Speaking on occasion, Chief Minister informed that our Government has planned various policies to strengthen the IT sector in Goa for the next five years. The inauguration of Visteon Tech Centre in Goa would send the right message across the Country and IT sector that our Government is welcoming the different IT Industries in Goa.

Dr. Sawant said to make the State IT and technology Hub, we are attracting private industries as well as the Technology personnel and further added that the State Government is also mulling to make Goa as Knowledge Hub to facilitate knowledge partners to Goa and conduct the research in different fields.

Further speaking he said we have embarked on a plan to make Goa self-reliant in all sectors through the Swayampurna Goa programme after the initiative of Atmanirbhar Bharat by Prime Minister. Our vision for the IT sector is to make Goa an IT hub. Congratulating the Visteon for establishing their centre in Goa, he said that the partners like Visteon will be able to fulfill the dream to become Goa Swayampurna in the IT sector.

Addressing the gathering, IT Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte highlighted various initiatives of the Government to promote and strengthen the IT sector in the State.

Present on the occasion were President and CEO of Visteon Tech Centre Goa Shri. Sachin Lawande, Shri Robert Vallance and other dignitaries.
