Library Course At GEC To Begin In March

The Certificate Course in Library and Information Science by Goa College of Engineering (GEC), Farmagudi will begin from March 15, 2021 at the GEC Library. The course is of six months duration which includes 45 days internship in a reputed library. The 3rd batch of this Certificate Course could not take place due to pandemic.

This course is good for candidates who wish to seek employment in School Libraries, Public Libraries (Grade I and Grade II Librarians) and Library Assistants in other academic / professional Libraries. The admission for the course will be given on first come first serve basis as there are only 30 seats available. Those who are employed in the library will be given preference. The minimum requirement to apply is XII pass in any stream.
