CM Reviews Progress of GSIDC Infrastructure Projects

The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant appealed to GSIDC fast tract all the incomplete projects at a meeting held with officials of Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd to review the infrastructure developmental works/ projects undertaken, yesterday.
Discussing on the various projects undertaken by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd he appealed to setup a time frame for each project and provide list of projects which are near completion and fix dates for inauguration.
MD, GSIDC made a presentation on various developmental projects undertaken by GSIDC and also briefed the status on each project. The projects includes Ultra Modern Transport hub with Modern Facilities at Vasco, 500 bedded District Hospital at Margao, Phase-I, New District and Subordinate Court at Merces, Fishing Jetty at Molem and Cortalim, Master Plan for Mormugao Constituency, IInd Phase of Goa Dental College and Hospital at Bambolim, Multipurpose hall having Badminton Court, Developmental work in Benaulim Constituency, New Lecture Hall at GMC and Hospital at Bambolim, 100 bedded hospital in the phase II of Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour, Bambolim, Sankhalim Bus Stan and Mini Depot, Freedom Fighters memorial at Patradevi among others.
Chief Minister instructed to prepare a list of all projects, with the quantum of fund by Central Government and instructed to make inspection of the projects alongwith concerned Department. Officers of GSIDC maintained that the work on projects was halted due to current Pandemic.
