RATION QUOTA FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2018 Panaji: November 22, 2018      Agrahayana 1, 1940   In view of the Christmas festival, the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs has allotted Festival Quota under the National Food Security Act 2013. The Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholders -- 35 kg Rice is allotted per card at Rs. 3/- while 1 Kg sugar is allotted per card for Rs. 13.50/-.   Annapurna (ANP) cardholders are allotted 10 kgs Rice per card for free of cost. The Welfare Institution Scheme cardholders will get Rice at Rs. 6.15/- as per the card quota, while Priority Households (PHH) will get 5 kgs rice per card at Rs. 3/-. Above Poverty line (APL) will get 8 kgs Rice per card for Rs. 12.50/-.   For Welfare Institution Scheme, Wheat is priced at Rs. 4.80/- and for APL at Rs. 10 for 7 kgs per card.             All the fair price shops owners are informed that the quota should be lifted on or before November 30, 2018. No extension would be granted. The shops must display the details of stock as well as sample quality of grains for consumer information.    The Ration cardholders are required to take their entitlement for the month of December by December 21, 2018 from their respective Fair Price Shops.  All cardholders/consumers are advised to give complaints if any to their respective taluka Mamlatdar or Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Junta House, Panaji.   DI/NB/GPP/JA/JS/AN/2018/1026
