Principal of Our Lady of Rosary High School, Donapaula,  Sr. Elizabeth Mathai said  that Self-confidence is the belief in oneself and abilities. It describes an internal state made up of what we think and feel about ourselves. Learning to value ourselves and our abilities builds body confidence.

Sr. Mathai inaugurated “Free Being Me”, a two day trainers workshop organised by Bharat Scouts & Guides, Tiswadi at the Our Lady of Rosary High School, Donapaula  today.

Presiding over the inaugural function, Sr. Elizabeth said that What’s inside us matters most. Sharing body confidence. In a sense, we could say that having healthy self-esteem leads to being self-confident.

Scoutmasters and Guide-captains Tiswadi will  undergo the training of how to organize and conduct the Free Being Me activities.  

The State Chief Commissioner Shri P. R. Nadkarni expressed happiness that the Tiswadi district is being activated from dormant state and hoped that many such constructive projects will be conducted by them. He wished them all the success.

The State Secretary Shri James Fernandes, explained the idea behind organising the workshop.

Smt. Sheetal Shinde (Maharshtara) Leader of the Course also spoke on the occasion.

The resources persons are Shri Suraj George, Shri Suhas Achrekar, Smt. Maria Fernandes, Shri James Fernands and  Shri  Diogo Fernandes.

District Chief Commissioner Shri John Aguiar earlier welcomed while District Secretary  Smt. Sunaina Shet proposed a vote of thanks. Smt. Merlin Menezes Gama compered the function.
