Governor of Goa, Dr (Smt) Mridula Sinha inaugurated Kshitij 2018, Don Bosco Project Expo, the 4th annual project exhibition at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda today.

While addressing the gathering Smt Sinha said, “I am accepting the invitations of various educational institutions as the guest not to teach something to the teachers and students fraternity, but to learn something new”. Educational Institution is the place where good human beings are invented, she said.

When one speaks in the language other than his local language only mind speaks but while speaking in local language one speaks from his heart Smt Sinha opined. Farmers who are toiling in their fields have the same importance like engineers.  Youths should understand that no work is small. It is more essential to be good human being she said and urged educational institutions to create more human beings, rather than just engineers.

By acquiring engineering degree there comes responsibility and engineers should dedicate themselves towards their work as the projects invented and created by them will be used by society. Engineers need to have love, concern and apathy towards society as they are the part of development she said. She also urged to preserve nature which is the god’s creation.
