The Deputy Chief Minister, Shri  Manohar  Ajgaonkar yesterday   launched various developmental projects, all worth Rs.58,97 lakhs in Pernem  Constituency .


The Dy. Chief Minister reiterated government’s committed to ensure development of villages on par with the cities, thereby upgrading the facilities and the infrastructure. The basic amenities like power, adequate water supply, health services, education, proper road network will be improved to elevate the living standard of the people.


Shri Azgaonkar called upon the people to identify and suggest developmental projects for the betterment of the people and improvement of the villages.  Seeking co-operation of the people to fulfill their objective of the government towards them, he appealed to them to rally behind the government to fulfill the dreams of the people.


     The developmental projects included urgent improvement of footpaths at Madhalawada  in V.P. Virnoda, Widening of road from main road to New-wada at Tulaskar wadi in V.P. Varkhand, improvement of road from Ghadvas Devasthan to lake at Deulwada in V.P. Ozarim, improvement of road from main road to Shree Suresh Raul house and Madhu Dhumaskar's house at Tallarna in V.P.  Halarna and widening of road with protection wall near Sateri Mandir for. a stretch of 80mts. 


The  Minister during also  commissioned high mast (4 arms lamps ) at Chandel Junction, Halarna,  Kasim Bhaat in Ozarim village and also inaugurated Crematorium at Hasapur etc.


The Minister was accompanied by MLA & Chairman of GTDC Shri. Dayanand Sopte and the representatives of Village Panchayats - Smt. Aparna Parab, Dy. Sarpanch; Smt. Anupa Kambli Sarpanch, Shri Santosh Malik; Deputy Sarpanch Smt. Laxmi Naik and Ward Member Shri. Tulshidas Gawas.
