GOVT COMMITTED TO PROMOTE FILM CULTURE:  GAUDE

 

Minister for Art and Culture, Shri Govind Gaude reiterating Government commitment to promote film culture in the state informed that connected facilities like recording studio and other essential amenities which are required for the production of the film are being looked at to be provided in the State.

 

Shri Gaude was speaking after launching Web Series Khushfemia at a function held at the conference hall in Ministerial Block, Secretariat today.  The series has been produced by Shri Prakash Tiwari through his company GEMPLEX. 

 

     The Minister said the crew has selected Goa to shoot the entire series involving local aspiring talent. This act of the   Producer will inspire locals who are desirous to plunge in this sector. The selection of local artists for the series would provide the requisite boost and encouragement for the upcoming talent in future, he remarked.

 

Goa is just not confined to beaches and churches, he said and added that Goa has vast nature with scenic beauty; its hinterland adds to touristic importance and hoped a bright success to the   series in the days to come. 

 

     The Director of the series Shri Vishal Kumar Patil said that the through the medium of this series they have endeavored to deliver a message of positive thinking. There should be no negative thinking which leads to misunderstanding, confusion etc. and the  theme of the series bring “Journey in time to reconciliation, friendship and happiness” will go a long way to change the perception. 

     

Chairman GEMPLEX, Shri Prakash Tiwari informed that they have purposely involved the local people to encourage local talent. Since the entire series shot in naturally bestowed beauty and heritage of Goa, the series have had a great impact encouraging interest among the audience, he added.

 

Shri Gaude also released the poster of the series on the occasion.

 

       Shri Dharmanand Vernekar introduced the crew members of   the series and welcomed the Minister earlier.
