CM INSPECTS CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HIGH COURT COMPLEX IN PORVORIM

Stating that the target set for the completion of the new High Court Complex in Porvorim is March 31, 2020, the Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant said that construction work of the new complex of the High Court of Bombay at Goa is being carried out on a war footing.  Dr Sawant stated this after inspecting the ongoing works of the construction of High Court Complex in Porvorim, today.

Present on the occasion were officials from the GSIDC (Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation), PWD (Public Works Department), among others. The representatives of the Consultants appointed for the project LKS India Pvt. Ltd briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of the construction as Dr Sawant visited the site.

Dr Sawant said that more than 80 per cent of the Civil related works of the building complex has been completed whereas around 20 per cent of interior work has been done so far. The Chief Minister further informed that the tender for the landscaping work would be floated shortly.

The Managing Director of GSIDC, Shri Srinet Kothwale informed that the shifting of the Court to the new premises could be done when the Court has its summer vacation break.
