The Captain of Ports Department has taken cognizance of the vessel “MT NU SHI NALINI” which has drifted due to rough weather condition prevailing along the Goa Coast from its outer anchorage at MPT Port to Dona Paula and contains a cargo of about 2000 Metric tons “Naphtha Fuel” besides 19 tones of High Speed Diesel and 50 Tones of heavy Oil, which is hazardous.

             Therefore Captain of Ports has cautioned all owners, masters of the barges, passengers launches, ferry boats, tindels of fishing trawlers and operators of the mechanized and non mechanized crafts, including the tourist boats, cruise boats, etc. plyingin river Mandovi/Zuari to keep a sharp lookout,  go slow and  keep a safe distance of 1.Km (1000 meters) radius from the grounded said vessel so as not to cause any hindrance during the salvage operation of the vessel.
