Well known theatre personality Shri Shridhar Kamat Bambolkar inaugurated a weeklong Mime workshop at Multipurpose Hall, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, organized by the Directorate of Art and Culture.

Deputy Director, Directorate of Art and Culture, Shri Ashok Parab, Resource Person Shri Vilas Janave and Kiran Janave were present on the occasion along with others.

Addressing the inaugural session, Shri Kamat said, workshops always plays vital role as far as art is concern. It is considered one of the important forms of education. The Education is like a perennial stream. It never ends, It keeps giving new ideas to the participating artists. It also helps to enhance the knowledge, to update oneself he added.

Art is a journey which transfers from one person to another person. Every art has its own form and beauty. Sharing the knowledge is very much important in day today life said  Shri Janave.

Shri Ashok Parab gave introductory remarks and welcomed the guests. He highlighted the various activities of the Department.
