Minister for Art and Culture Shri. Govind Gaude  stated that,  State Government is mulling to set up permanent Art Gallery in the State which will provide platform and good atmosphere to artist from all over the World to showcase their talent. He was speaking at a concluding function of  12th National level painters camp``Chitrankan`` organised by Directorate of  Art and Culture in association with West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur held at Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto Panaji today.

Minister Shri. Gaude speaking further said that  Government intends to create standard class atmosphere and facilities for artists, wherein they can showcase their talent and also learn various aspects of arts for themselves.

``Hard work and continuous efforts in the field of art makes an artist able to create  best of  his artistic skill. We should not judge the art in the monetary aspects but satisfaction derived by an artist through his or her painting has more importance, added Minister Shri. Gaude. He  appreciated the painting made by participants of the camp.

Director, Art and Culture Shri. Gurudas Pilarnekar in his welcome remarks congratulated artists for participating in the camp, which was commenced on September 16, 2019.

Shri. Deepak Singh Chauhan of  Shilpa Gram Shri. Rakesh Mehta from West Zone Cultural Centre, Ex-Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy Shri. Krishna Shetty were present on the occasion.

Artist Shri. Vijay Bhandare, Goa  and Smt. Sangeeta Raj, Delhi shared their views on the camp.

Jagdish Nandwana (Rajastan)  Smt. Sangeeta Raj, (Delhi) Shri. Narendra Singh (Rajastan) Shri. Janardan  Rao Havanje (Karnataka) Smt.Surabhi Gulwelkar (Pune), shri. Shirish Ambekar (Aurangabad) Shri. Vijay Bhandare (Goa), Smt. Harshada Kerkar (Goa) Smt. Chaitali Morajkar (Goa) were participated in the Camp.

Cultural Officer Smt. Siddhi Upadhye compered programme and Deputy Director, Art and Culture Shri. Ashok Parab proposed vote of thanks.
