CHITRANKAN-CONTEMPORARY PAINTERS CAMP HELD AT PANAJI

          The inaugural function of the Chitrankan-Contemporary painter’s camp was held on January 25, 2019 at Sanskruti Bhavan, Panaji. Shri Sanjay Harmalkar, Chairman of Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji inaugurated the function  along with Shri Gurudas P. Pilarnekar, Director of Art and Culture, Shri Ashok Parab, Dy. Director of Art and Culture and Shri Hemant Mehta, Programme Officer of West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur.

          The particular camp is being organized for last ten years by the department of Art and Culture in joint collaboration with West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur to provide a platform and to promote the contemporary artists from the country.

          In total, eighteen artist from different parts of India are participating in this camp along with two Goan artists.
