SP NORTH PROMULGATES PROHIBITORY ORDER

District Superintendent of Police, North Goa District has promulgated prohibitory  order to be in force in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Porvorim and Panaji from January 29, 2019 till 7th Session of the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa concludes.

The order states that no person or class of persons a) shall convene or collect as an assembly; b) shall take out any procession or stage any demonstration on the road street or thorough fare, c) shall hold public meeting. except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued in this behalf by the District Superintendent of Police, any person or class of person intending to convene or collect such assembly and take out processions/demonstrations individually, collectively or otherwise shall apply to the District Superintendent of Police,  for license well in advance.

However, in no case, procession, morcha, rally dharna etc. shall be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex at Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station as promulgated U/s 144 Cr.P.C. by the District Magistrate, North Goa.
