CM TO INAUGURATE NEW GBSHSE BUILDING ON DEC 15

Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant will inaugurate New building of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at Porvorim on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10.30 a.m. in the distinguished presence of Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, Waterways, Tourism, Shri. Shripad Naik), Minister for Tourism, Shri. Rohan Khaunte.

Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Shri. Sadanand Shet Tanawade, MLA, Saligao Constituency Viice Chairman, GSIDC, Shri. Kedar Naik, MLA, Savordem Constituency, GTDC Chairman and Member of GBSHSE, Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, MLA, Vasco da Gama Constituency, SGPDA Chairman and Member of GBSHE, Shri Krishna (Daji) Salkar, Secretary (Education), Shri. Prasad Lolayekar, IAS and Chairman, Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Shri. Bhagirath Shetye will be present for the function.

The building for the Goa Board of Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is located on a plot area of 8100.00 sq.m. The building has a ground coverage of 2132.00 sq.m. and has a total floor area (built-up area) of 10,283.90 sq.m spread on stilt + three floors with adequate space for different departments like Administration, Accounts, Academic section, Certificate cell, SSC and HSC exam sections, etc. The project also provides for space for parking of 78 Nos. four wheelers and 48 Nos. two wheelers.
