MOCK DRILL ON CYCLONE DISASTER ON MARCH 3

The District Mock Exercise on Cyclone Disaster will be conducted by the Office of the South District and South Goa District Disaster Management Authority, Margao at Colva Beach, Colva, Salcete Goa on March 3, 2023 from 9.00 a.m. onwards.

The camp would require setting up of triage camps, mobilization of ambulances, medical staff, shifting of rescued personnel to trauma centres/hospitals and other supporting activities. There will be police security at the venue. All concerned stakeholders will participate in the said mock drill exercise.

The public are requested not to panic as it is only a mock drill and urged to co-operate with the agencies apart from providing access on public roads during the conduct of the mock drill exercise.
