WEEKLY REVIEW ON RETAIL PRICES OF ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES

The weekly review on retail prices of essential commodities for the week ending August 05, 2022 at Panaji, Margao, Mapusa and Vasco are as follows:

The prices of parboiled rice local and outside, raw rice superfine, fine and common, Gur-fine and Sugar S-30 remained steady in all the markets during the week.

The prices of Turdal barshi, Moongdal, Uraddal, Gramdal, Masoordal, Moong, Peas Dry and Gram Kabuli-big remained steady in all the markets during the week.

The prices of Sunflower oil (Sunrich), Coconut oil and Vanaspati Ghee “Dalda” remained steady in all the markets during the week. Sunflower oil (Sunrich) at Mapusa decreased by Rs. 10/- per litre but remained steady in other markets.

The arrival of Vegetables remained steady in all the markets during the week under review.

The prices of potatoes, onions and chilies’ green remained steady in all the markets during the week. Tomatoes at Vasco decreased by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/- per kilo but remained steady in other markets. Beans at Margao and Mapusa increased by Rs. 20/- per kilo respectively but remained steady in other markets. Cabbage at Panaji, Margao, Mapusa and Vasco increased by Rs. 10/-, Rs. 5/-, Rs. 10/-, Rs. 5/-, to Rs. 10/- and Rs. 5/- per kg respectively.

The prices of coconut of 100 bharti, coconut of 120 bharti and 150 bharti and Coconuts 180 bharti remained steady in all the markets during the week under review.
