The Goa State Council for Science & Technology, (GSCST), Sailgao has invited proposals for grant-in-aid support from S & T based Academic Institutions & Science based organizations for celebrating National Science Day-2023 on Feb, 28, 2023 to organize number of activities like Debates, Quizzes, Exhibitions, Lectures, Radio Talk shows etc. involving schools, colleges and general masses.

GSCST is the State Nodal Agency for implementing various S & T programmes of the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India
to popularise Science and to strengthen scientific temper among the masses within the Goa State. GSCST also celebrates National Science
Day (NSD) on February 28, every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by our great Scientist & Noble laureate Sir C. V.

GSCST will also observe December 22nd, as National Mathematics Day (NMD) in the State. Proposals are also invited from the interested
schools S & T organisation for celebrating National Mathematics Day 2022 on December 22, 2022 for organising mathematics related Quizzes, Lectures, Competitions etc. The genuine proposal submitted around the above mentioned theme will be selected for financial support upon approval by the concerned Ministry.

The last date for submitting proposal to Member Secretary, Goa State Council for Science & Technology, Opposite to Saligao Seminary,
Saligao, Bardez-Goa. 403511 is April 28, 2022.
