DM North Prohibits Transportation of Birds from Karnataka and Kerala

District Magistrate, North Goa has prohibited the transportation and entry of birds from Karnataka and Kerala States into North Goa District either directly or indirectly. DM has issued this order today in view of confirmation of Avian Influenza (H5N1) in Chicken in taluka Mysore, District Mysore, Devangere of Karnataka and West Kodyathur, Kozikode of Kerala.
This order will come into force w.e.f.00.00hrs of March 22, 2020 (i.e intervening midnight of March 21st and March 22, 2020) till further orders.
