          The Governor of Goa, Dr. (Smt.)  Mridula Sinha was the Chief Guest at  Regional Mahila Samagam, organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad Kashi, Varanasi on  January 7, 2018. Colourful presentations  for BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO and messages for the conservation of environment were given.

          Governor said that daughters are special and she appealed the audience to respect them and cherish their dignity. Through various stories and songs she discussed a great deal about the importance of daughters and the role of women in the society.

          In a programme organised at BHU’s Swantantrta Bhavan, the Governor said that in Indian culture a mother holds the highest position. Mother has been given the status of the mother goddess. In every field of the society, women have proved it on the basis of their merit that they are not less than anyone. She appreciated the efforts of the organisers and said that this is the organization where if the husband becomes the member, then the wife will also become a member automatically. In a family there is a need to move forward on the basis of contact, cooperation, rites, service, and dedication of its original mantra.

           Meanwhile, the audience applauded the cultural colourful programmes under the supervision of regional secretary organisation, Navin Srivastav. During this event a glimpse of Kashi, Kaal Bhairav, Nav Durga, Nav Gauri were performed through dances and the message of BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO etc was given.

          Provincial President Sudeep Tandon, General Secretary Sunil sinha, Chairman, Pramod Ram Tripathi, National Minister, Brahmanand Peshwani, Dr Anuradha Khanna, joint Minister Dr R B Srivastav , Regional Chairman Keshawadutt Gupta highlighted the purpose of the work of the council and the expansion of the society.
