GOVT TO INAUGURATE 06 HOSPITALS WITH ADEQUATE HEALTH CARE FACILITIES: RANE

Health Minister Shri Vishwajit Rane announced that the Government will  inaugurate 6 new hospitals with adequate modern health care facilities in the State. 
 
Health Minister was speaking at the inaugural function of  'Vision for all' eye checkup and surgery camp organised by Directorate of Health Services in association with Prasad Netralaya, Udupi, Colorcon Asia, at Valpoi today.

 Shri Rane reiterating Government's commitment to provide world-class health facility to the people in the State said Government will inaugurate 6 more hospitals with adequate health care facilities which includes  South Goa District Hospital at Curchorem, Tuem, Cansaulim, etc.


Shri Rane maintained that Government is making efforts to provide modern facility for eye testing which will enable to have 28 diagnoses with two drop of blood which will help to detect glucose in blood if any, possibility of heart attack etc. The machine will be made available at all PHC, CHC in the state which is easy to handle.

Shri Rane while sharing his experience during his recent visit to America said that Government is providing best health care facilities to the people of Goa. The Covid 19 management services provided in the State are much better than America as can be seen from the death toll which is much higher than Goa.

Shri Rajesh Parab, MD Colorcon Asia also spoke on the occasion. 

Councilor of Valpoi Municipal Council, Sarpachas from various village panchayats, ZP Members were present on the occasion.
