The Goa State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA) celebrated Republic Day on January 26, 2021 at the High Court of Bombay at Goa at the hands of Shri Justice Mahesh S. Sonak Judge, Judge High Court of Bombay at Goa in the august presence of the Judges of the High Court of Bombay at Goa Shri Justice Dama Seshadri Naidu, Smt. Justice Bharathi H Dangare,  and Smt. Justice Mukulika S Jawalkar.

The Flag Hosting Ceremony was followed by a talk on “Empowering our Voters” by Adv Ryan Menezes in observance of the National Voters day on January 25, 2021 and the prize distribution of the poetry competition organized by North and South Districts Legal Services Authority foe the Legal Literacy Clubs on India to observe National Girl Child Day on January 24, 2021, in the South Goa District, the first prize was awarded to Miss Shravani Pednekar of shri Nirankar Vidyalay  Mashem Canacona, the second prize was awarded to Master Vedant Gadkari of union High School and the third prize was awarded to Miss Sayli Kasar of Shri Nirankar Vidyalay Mashem Canacona.

In the North Goa District, the first prize won by Miss Paroma Kulkarni, a student of Peoples High School, Panaji, the second prize was awarded to miss Sadiya Shaikh of National High School, Valpoi and the third prize bagged by Miss Vaishri Acharya.

The Goa State Legal Services Authority in association with Goa Waste Management Corporation, City of Corporation of Panaji and Municipal Administration organized a cleanliness Drive as part of Republic day Celebrations on the road stretch from Santa Cruz Football Ground till Panaji Convention Center, Ram Mandir, Bhatlem till TB Chest Hospital and Ram Mandir Bhatlem till Taleigao Bhatlem intersection. The cleanliness Drive was flagged off by the Learned Advocated General of Goa Shri Devidas Pangam. Sayonara Telles - Laad, Member Secretary Goa State Legal Services Authority, Dr. Tariq Thomas Secretary to Chief Secretary, Shri Levinson Martins, Director of Department Science and Technology and Managing Director, Goa Waste Management Corporation, Shri Sanjit Rodrigues, Commissioner of the Corporations of the City of Panaji along with other official, Paralegal Volunteers, Legal Aid Advocates and other participated in the Cleanliness Drive, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
