SP NORTH RESTRICTS PROCESSION/DEMONSTRATION

The Superintendent of Police, North in exercise of the powers conferred under section 30(2) of the Police Act, 1961, promulgates that no person or class of persons will convene or collect as an assembly, will take out procession or stage any demonstration on the road street or thorough fare, will hold public meeting except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued in this behalf and do hereby require that every such person or class of persons intending to convene or collectively or otherwise will apply to the SP, North for a license well in advance.
However, in no case procession, morcha, rally, dharna etc will be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex at Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station from January 25, 2021 until the 13th session of the 7th legislative Assembly gets over, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
