CM APPEALS FOR ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF YOUTHS

IN SWAYAMPURNA GOA MISSION

 

Panaji, January 5, 2021

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the State Youth Parliament Program, jointly organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, North and South Goa District at Directorate of Art and Culture, Patto, Panaji today.

Four participants from Goa have been selected by the Nehru Yuva Kendra who presented their live performance today. Selected participants will present at National Youth Parliament Festival 2021 at New Delhi.

After inauguration, while addressing the youths, the Chief Minister informed about youth policy of the state and said various programs will be conducted during forthcoming youth week celebrations which will begin from January 12.

Quoting the thoughts of Swami Vivekanand, the Chief Minister said, the reason for every misunderstanding in our life is that we look at the people as we are but in reality not as they are. He said youth should lead the society by keeping in mind the the thoughts and principles of Swamiji, Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is achieved.

The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to involve in the Swayampurna Goa Mission by contributing their ideas and the active participation.

Earlier Shri Kalidas Ghatwal, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra welcomed the guests. Director of Art and Culture Shri. Sagun Velip, Shri Kanta Gaude and the Juries were present on the occasion.
