ROAD ACCIDENT STATISTICS FOR NOVEMBER 2020

The Directorate of Transport has compiled monthly report of number of accidents that occurred and number of Challans issued for the month of November 2020

As per the report there were 242 road accidents of which 17 were Fatal Accidents (North Goa – 5 and South Goa – 12), 16 Grievous Accidents (North Goa – 8 and South Goa – 8), 56 Minor Accidents (North Goa – 12 and South Goa – 44) and 153 Non - Injury Accidents (North Goa – 78 and South Goa –75).  

The total number of persons who lost their lives in road accidents were 18 (North Goa – 5 and South Goa - 13), 13 Riders, 3 P/Riders, 1 Drivers and 1 Pedestrian lost their lives in these accidents.  

27 people were Grievously Injured (North – 14 and South – 13) while 71 persons suffered Minor Injuries (North – 17, South – 54). 

A total 824 Challans were issued by Transport authorities in the month of November 2020, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
