LADLI LAXMI SCHEME MODIFIED

The Government has revised the Ladli Laxmi scheme wherein the applicant (girl) will be eligible to receive the Scheme benefit if her parental income does not exceed Rs.3.00 lakhs per annum.

 

The Government has also further taken care to ensure that if the applicant fulfills all the criteria and has submitted all her documents required as per the scheme but is unable to furnish her parents documents due to death of both parents, such an application will be sanctioned if the applicant submits her 15 years of residence certificate and birth certificates along with death certificate of both parents. Submission of parental income certificate in case of such applicant will be waived off, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
