CM CALLS FOR MAKING BHANGRALEM GOEM

          The Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant today reiterated the Government commitment to accomplish the goal of Swayampurna Goa under Atmanirbhar Bharat programme and underlined his endeavour and vision to make the tiny Goa of State in the Indian Union “Bhangralem Goem” before next Goa Liberation Day.

         The Chief Minister delivered a talk to the Officers at half day training programme on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swayampurna Goa conducted by Directorate of Planning and Statistics and Evaluation and Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development held at SCERT, Porvorim today.

         The Chief Minister exhorted the Government Officers to study the report prepared by Directorate of Higher Education and GIPARD and discuss it in detail with the local elected Representatives and with the active social clubs in the areas.

Chief Minister urged to understand and know the various schemes implemented by various departments, interact with potential beneficiaries and advised to plan and schedule programme with the help of Panchayat Secretaries and with the link Officers. He told to work phase wise on the field as per the convenience of the Officers to achieve short term and long term goals to make Swayampurna Goa a success.

Earlier Dr. Seema Fernandes and Ms. Ashwin Acharya of GIPARD gave brief introduction on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swayampurna Goa.
Discussions were held on how the Swayampurna Mitra will use Directorate of Panchayat manpower and machinery in implementing Swaryampurna Goa.

Shri Dattaprasad Shetkar briefed on reporting and monitoring format.
Officers of Department of Agriculture and Horticulture, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Employment and Labour Department, EDC, KVIP, District Rural Development Agency, Department of Women and Child Development, Department of Social Welfare, Department of Fisheries, Department of Tribal Welfare, Department of Handicrafts Textile and Coir briefed on various schemes that are implemented by the Departments, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
