GUV APPRECIATES EFFORTS OF INDIAN RED CROSS

Governor of Goa, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari appreciated the efforts taken by the Indian Red Cross Society in extending their help to the needy people and particularly their contribution towards providing succour to the vulnerable sections of society during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Governor discussed the on-going activities and achievements of the Society including the report of activities particularly undertaken during Covid-19 pandemic in a meeting with the Managing

Committee of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Goa Branch today at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula.

 

 The issues of grants received from the Government, requirement of premises for the State Office and some of the Taluka Branches were also discussed, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
