NOMINATION INVITED FOR STATE AGRICULTURE AWARDS

The Directorate of Agriculture have invited nominations for State Agriculture Awards for the year 2020-21 from the Goan farmers for their outstanding performance in Agriculture and Horticulture for the Krishi Ratna- Rs.2.00 lakhs + Citation, Krishi Vibhushan-Rs.1.00 lakh+ Citation and Krishi Bhushan – Rs.0.50 lakh + Citation awards.

 

Nominations also invited  from farmers for Special Agriculture Award for Organic farming and traditional medicinal plants (late Fr. Inacio Almeida Awards) for Rs. 0.50 lakh+ Citation. Forms are available at the office of the Zonal Agriculture Officer in the respective talukas during office hours.

Every year Department of Agriculture, gives “State Level best Farmer Awards” to the farmers from the State who are innovative, enterprising and using/undertaking path –breaking technology on their farms.

The last date for submission of completed applications to the Zonal Offices is October 25, 2020.
