Mr. Shripad Naik, Minister of Ayush, Government of India today launched two immunity boosters against CORONA VIRUS namely Ayush Kwath and Giloi Tea manufactured by VIBHA NATURAL PRODUCTS LTD by an ISO 9001:2015 certified Mumbai based company.

Mr. Naik, congratulated the pioneering efforts of “the son of the soil” Mr. Bhasker Assoldekar, Chairman of VIBHA NATURAL PRODUCTS LTD. He also emphasized that, till the time we have a permanent cure, people should focus their efforts in increasing their immunity. This will ensure that the chances of attack by CORONA VIRUS are significantly reduced. He further highlighted the importance of adhering to the norms of social distancing and maintaining hygiene.

There are several companies offering allopathic solutions against corona virus, but the two major ingredients (API) currently in vogue are based on Remdesivir and Flavipiravir. For successful implementation of the same, four step trials including efficacy of the products, needs to be studied and established which is time consuming.

In the meantime, an Indian company named Bharat Biotech has got an approval from Health Ministry to go ahead with its vaccine.

HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) was also considered to be effective in managing corona virus. To substantiate the claim, multiple research papers were published in medicinal journals of international repute. However, the same were later retracted on June 26, 2020.

Till such time that we do not have a permanent cure, Ministry of Ayush has come to the rescue of Indian citizens.  It has recommended that ayurvedic health promotion products need to be administered to boost immunity.

Ayurveda which is a time-tested medical science believes in enhancing immunity to such a level that the virus cannot take hold of the body.

Ayush Kwath and Giloi Tea launched today are made available in powder form and are to be consumed by making tea.

Ayush Kwath contains tulsi leaves, cinnamon, dry ginger and black pepper. Alkaloids and Terpenes present in these herbs have anti-microbial activity. Both pepper and ginger also possess antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Giloi Tea contains Gulvel (Tinospora Cordifolia) and it has been known since long for its antiviral and antipyretic properties.

It is believed that if the tea made out of the above powders is consumed for a period of three months, then enough immunity would be built up in the body to withstand viral attacks.

Both these products will be available at leading chemist shops in various parts of Goa.
